Chia Rafelson

We all come to yoga for different reasons.
Mine was to overcome addiction, to get started on a different life.  A life that was filled with healing, love and possibility.  Yoga is a gift that was given to me.
My passion is to help people nourish their body, mind and spirit.

Nourish (Nour 'ish)

To give people substance they require to Live and Grow.
To remain Fit and Healthy;

To encourage or strengthen a Feeling or Idea;

To help something develop.

Robert and Nancy Tupper

Robert - "I was a beginning yoga student with Chia.   I am 64 and have now practiced for 4 years.  I have felt stronger, healthier and more vibrant, in my mind and body.  Chia's instruction comes from her heart and soul and she leaves a part of her magic with each student.  I am full of gratitude for her teaching as it has changed my life and the depth of calmness I now feel."

Nancy - "Chia helped me build the confidence to do the poses.  At 75 years old, Chia gave me the courage to keep at it.  It was fun and exciting and since my first class with her I have continued to practice 3 times a week.  When Chia teaches a class, you know that she really believes in what she teaches and makes you believe it too.  Her classes are never, ever boring, she is a hands-on teacher and very gentle.  Chia is the best teacher I have ever had.

When I first started yoga I was overweight.  I have now lost 30 lbs and kept it off for 3 years.  I have become more aware of my health.  I am stronger, feel fit, and more relaxed and confident in myself"

I have had both group yoga classes with Chia and one-on-one and no matter the setting, the woman is incredible.  Her body awareness and adjustments are amazing.  Chia offers fun, challenging and inspiring sessions that will get you hooked!!
